Today's card features more Tim Holtz goodness! It's an A2 size card, opening on the right, with a white base and is blank inside. The front panel is colored with multiple layers of Ranger Distress Inks, ranging in color from Mustard Seed to Wild Honey to Barn Door. The embossed portion is the image of sun rays and is coated in a clear crackle paint. While somewhat hard to see in the first two photographs, the third provides a glimpse of what the up-close version looks like. [Trust me, it's much cooler in real life!] The stamped sentiment reads: live [life] to the fullest in all lowercase letters, stamped in black ink.
One of the things that I love about Tim Holtz products is how well they blend together flawlessly. The inks are amazing to work with and I'm in complete love with his new embossing folders. The impressions are so deep and so clear, perfect for distressing! Clear crackle paint is another one of my current favorite products to use. It's a clear paint that cracks as it dries. Depending upon how thick the layer of paint is determines the size and style of the cracks. I think it adds great depth and is a perfect touch for this card. Be sure to check it out the additional photographs and details at my Etsy shop.
